What makes our drums so special?

* unique handpolished form for the frame to get the best sound

* ecological oiled frame

* use of bones and fur from local Belgian animals like fox, rabbit, marten, roe,..

* use of special feathers (found by us)

* weaving of an energetic portal with crystals and macrame.

* adjustable pitch

* adjusted two-sided beater

The beater is the direct connection between you and the drum..

An extension of your heart that makes the drum sing.

 

The drum sticks we create are original masterpieces and have their specific qualities.

 

We use all sorts of wood combined with a two-sided head,

that make it possible to bring forward two different sounds.

One side with a leather cloth and the other with animal fur

for a warm and gentle sound without having the higher tones.

 

There are a lot of possibilities, but respecting the drum's integrity,

makes it for some sticks impossible to be used..

Hereby I mean that they can be hard, soft, heavy, light, big, small, long, short,....

and not every beater has the ability to bring out the best potential of the drum.

We always have several drums and beaters available at our place in Putte and we would really encourage you to pay us a visit, and feel the drums live.

Holding a drum in your hands and feeling the vibrations of the sound in your cells, is really the best way to choose your drum!!

Off course, if you live on the other side of the globe, we will do everything to help you choosing your drum, or the materials to create a drum specially for you.
